Playing ‘The Scientist’ by Coldplay on the iconic Shop Street (Galway)

I love filling the streets of Galway with music, especially with how beautiful it looks at Christmas, dressed up with all those lights. It’s impossible to say no to showing up with a smile 🙈

That was my last night on Irish soil before heading back to Spain for the holidays. It was a bit late and freezing cold. My fingers were burning badly from the steel strings, I literally couldn’t feel them, and it was really hard to keep my voice steady. Honestly, I couldn’t do it, as you can tell by the cracks in my voice 😂

I remember it started raining like there was no tomorrow, but only for about 5 minutes, so I had to take shelter in this super cool wool clothing store right across the street. When it stopped, I went back out and kept playing 🎸

And I remember it was wonderful, I felt like the luckiest person in the world. Every time I’m more sure that the only thing that matters is to be there, commit to yourself, and don’t make excuses to stop doing what you love. It doesn’t matter if you’re better or worse. What matters is enjoying it.

I love living intensely. I love fighting for what I truly want, even when there are difficulties or resistance, and there are many. It’s my responsibility to do it. And it’s your responsibility too, take note. I’m sure being warm and cozy at home would’ve been great, but then I’d only be comfortable. And I choose to be happy ❤️
