Hi! What can I say, as you can see I had a rough night.. 😂 Today is Halloween and the first thing I did when I woke up was watch my very first YouTube video. Today it’s exactly 4 years old, how time flies! I didn’t think of anything else than turning into a Zombie and recording my rock version of The Walking Dead song 😱
I remember everything was suuuper hard, improvised, totally homemade and without knowing how it was going to turn out but as always, I gave it my all. For the song, I recorded the bass, guitars, and drums and tried to give it my own vibe, my touch. The makeup was patiently done by @marianne.guerrero and after more than 4 hours she transformed me into a real Zombie. We filmed the video in my garage, spent all night setting up the lighting and everything, and when dawn came we needed 2 hours to remove the makeup. I learned that for these things you have to shave beforehand 😂
I remember it as a very special Halloween, very different. A night of the dead where strangely enough I started to live. I was really eager to start making videos playing guitar, to stick my foot out into the world and see what was out there. And honestly, I think it was a grand entrance and a huge learning experience in every sense. Until now I hadn’t thought about it like that, but in a way this musical project started on a Halloween like today, 4 years ago ☺️
