Playing Soldadito Marinero by Fito

I love grabbing my bike, throwing my guitar on my back, going for a ride without a plan, stopping wherever I feel like, and simply disconnecting. Or better said, connecting with myself and the surroundings. I don’t mind if there are lots of people, few people, or if I’m alone. That place has drawn me to it for some reason I still don’t understand. I just want to enjoy, let myself go. Feel. And play. And sing ❤️

Even if you can’t see it, behind the camera is the Atlantic Ocean. The views are incredible, with the huge sun right ahead and a cold but very pleasant breeze. I love playing guitar looking at the sea. I guess I need that visual connection with the sea that I’ve always had in Barcelona, even if it’s from a relative distance. Honestly, I rarely go in or swim here in Ireland 😂, but I really like knowing the sea is there and just looking at it. I adore the feeling of infinity, of sensing the world has no end. It calms me ☺️

So, I played for a few hours and before leaving, I thought about recording something to keep a little memory of the day. I placed my phone as best as I could between some rocks to protect it from the wind and paid tribute to the sea by singing Soldadito Marinero, although this time no mermaid showed up ❤️🎵
