I had such a great time this morning playing some rock songs on electric guitar with my mom! It’s amazing how some songs, no matter how long it’s been since you played or heard them, are literally burned into your memory. It’s funny because at first I always say, “oh, how did this song go?” but then the intro comes to me right away and as I play it, I remember the next part. It’s really cool 🙈 ☺
Actually, this video I’m sharing with you is the kind that most musicians wouldn’t share, but I really don’t care about that stuff 😇. I could go for perfection and I’m sure I’d get it, but I prefer things natural, as they come. Just playing around and having fun. Not taking things as seriously as they seem. I had such a blast! 😂
By the way, the song I’m sharing is Plug in Baby by Muse, and the last time I played it was during the audition I did last April in Cork (a city in the south of Ireland) to get into university and study electric guitar 🎵
All this made me remember that I actually got accepted to study that course. But I turned it down to be in Galway and live music in a more inner, personal way. And I’m so happy I made that choice, things are going really well, and I’m feeling great about myself ☺
I think it’s super important to follow your intuition, your heart. It’s worth believing in what you feel, even if sometimes you go against the current, right? ❤️
