I was going to say that I can’t do anything about this damn virus situation. I was going to say that especially being in Ireland I can’t do anything. Nothing at all.⁣

But you know what? I think I can do a lot, and so can you. And everyone. We can all contribute something what we love to do most, what we are needed for, what we believe in. This is the time to be united, to support each other, to help each other, because it’s the only way to move forward and get back to normal. This is the moment and the opportunity, now more than ever, to create a better world.⁣

Personally, I’m aware that I have in my hands one of the most powerful tools in the universe: music. And believe me, I plan to use it. I’m going to send encouragement, I’m going to bring joy, which is super necessary. My mission is that for a little while you can forget those problems that are hard to even believe. That you smile a little or disconnect for a moment. I’m going to bring light ❤️⁣

Last night I did an online concert with the wonderful people at @openmicgalway. It was amazing, we didn’t know how it would turn out but we made it happen. It reached more than 13,000 people and had almost 400 comments. What made me especially happy was being able to share with you what I experience every Sunday here in Galway, the incredible musicians I’m surrounded by, and the great vibe I breathe. It’s fantastic.⁣

And it made me really happy that, despite the virus problem and having to be all locked up, Open Mic hasn’t been cancelled. Nobody and nothing can stop music. Music spreads more than any virus ❤️⁣

PS: If you joined the live or if you’re watching this replay now, I’d love to hear your opinion 🎵 😘⁣
