Playing ‘Fix You’ by Coldplay live with Margot

Another Sunday, another chance to perform live at @openmicgalway, which by the way was packed, despite the huge storm we had this weekend in Galway. This is what I love like I always say, the sun shines from within, and here in Ireland, there’s always room to share music ☺️

Speaking of sharing, I was lucky enough to share this beautiful Coldplay song with @margot__bln. It was her first time singing in public and she did an amazing job! I’m more and more convinced that anything shared gains its full meaning. Music is my life, and I love playing guitar, and I love singing, but I love it even more when I get to do it with people who love music as much as I do. And I love it even more when others are there to listen and feel the music with me 🎵

About the song what can I say. Who hasn’t felt like they just couldn’t achieve something, no matter how hard they tried. Who hasn’t lost someone. Who hasn’t reached a massive goal, only to realize it wasn’t what they really needed. Who hasn’t fallen in love and then watched everything fall apart, just like that 😭

We’ve all been through things like this, and we’ll go through them again in life no doubt about it. And even though we feel vulnerable, what really matters is how we face it all. That’s why this song is so brilliant, because it emotionally wrecks you, makes you feel bad, only to then turn those tears into hope. Because things can always, always get better ❤️
