This morning I went for a walk around Galway, like every day, but this time I didn’t go alone. I went with my guitar. And it was wonderful. Let me tell you! ☺️
It was an incredible day, as you can see in the video. I wandered aimlessly, watching the sea until I found the perfect spot. It was waiting for me, no doubt, and it offered me the ideal chair: a super comfortable rock with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Just him and me. Alone 🙈
The sea was calm like rarely before. Maybe it was taking a nap and will soon return with that energy it always has, who knows. Or maybe it was showing me that being at peace and in harmony depends on each of us.
I spent a long time playing all kinds of songs, just watching the sea doing nothing, simply watching. Smiling a lot, of course. I was also composing: if that moment didn’t inspire me, few things in the world would 🎸
I felt very connected to nature, just like Bob Marley in this wonderful song. It’s amazing to feel that calm, to take the time needed to listen to what the sea had to tell me, what the birds had to sing to me 🎵
Sometimes those messages are silent and you don’t need ears to hear them. I don’t want to worry about life’s things that really aren’t important, and the birds (and the sea) reminded me of that. “Just in case,” they say. Thanks!
I know I’m privileged to be here and live what I got to live today. I’m privileged to be so clear about what my passion and mission in this life are. I’ve been privileged since the day I was born, because I’m alive, and even though sometimes things aren’t the way I’d like, there’s no greater privilege than knowing how to enjoy this life ❤️
