Led Zeppelin – Babe I’m gonna leave you

This morning I spent some time playing in one of my favorite spots in Galway, a place I often visit with my guitar 🎸. A super beautiful, peaceful place, full of swans, ducks, seagulls, and many other animals. It’s the end of a river flowing straight into the Atlantic Ocean ⭐️

I really felt like recording a bit of ‘Babe I’m gonna leave you’, an incredibly powerful song by Led Zeppelin. I love playing it acoustic and on repeat, usually as a warm-up. And although I never sing the lyrics, I guess that confusing message in the song about almost being free, wanting to leave some things behind but not being able to, is soaked into the chords themselves. Sometimes words aren’t needed to convey messages.

For me, it brings calm. It makes me dream that all those things I’m afraid to do, I will definitely be able to do someday, probably not too far away. A day when I connect with my deepest self and nothing else matters more than that 🎵

The good news is that I’ve been on the right path for a while now ❤️
