It’s turning out to be a really special birthday. Today I decided not to work, I didn’t even turn on the computer. I gave the day to myself, and there’s no better way to spend it than writing music 🎵
The truth is I’m obsessed with composing. It makes me feel so good and especially connected with myself. It’s a very unique feeling.
I spent hours going in circles around one single idea. It was super interesting. The chords and vocal melody came to me in a flash, but the lyrics got stuck. I don’t know if you’ve ever felt like you want to say something and just can’t find the right words.
In the end, I came up with a beautiful chorus. Four lines that you can read in a second and will be heard in just a couple of minutes once the song is done. Four lines that make me feel really proud I didn’t give up when I was stuck right in the middle of them.
Four lines full of truth that this simple and wonderful birthday has gifted me ❤️
