Celebrating my first year in Galway!

You know what? Today I’m celebrating. It’s been a year since I arrived in Galway!

This first year has gone by super fast, like those summers at the campground when we did a thousand things and had so much fun. You’d get distracted for a second and suddenly it was September, back to school again.

This time I don’t have to go back to school, this summer is different. I choose when it starts, when it ends, and everything that’s inside it or not. It’s been an incredible adventure, very much like I remembered from my best dreams.

Looking back, I realize I’ve improved a lot with guitar and singing, but you know me, I’m never satisfied. I won’t stop fighting and pushing myself. I know this is just the beginning.

Also, this year I’ve played many times in pubs and on the street. With my guitar, my voice, and my fears. I’ve also played with more musicians than I can even remember. Without a doubt, I’ve chosen the best place possible to fight for my dreams.

This year I also launched my online music school and I’m teaching guitar. I have an amazing project, you’d be proud. I couldn’t feel more fulfilled. I love being able to say that after one year I’m already living off music. It’s wonderful.

And I’m happy because I threw out the trash in the container and it thanked me, you know how it is. But it hasn’t been easy at all. Sometimes I feel a bit lonely, I miss you all. Especially the dogs, but I’m super happy because in a few weeks I’ll go home and see them.

PS: Grandpa, I won’t see you, but nothing makes me happier than feeling you’re with me on this adventure. Here I am, giving life my all, just like you taught me ❤️
