Yesterday I experienced something really beautiful. I got the opportunity to join a wonderful group of musicians who were raising money to help homeless people. I loved the idea and got really moved by it, so when a friend involved invited me, I didn’t hesitate to go ☺️
I couldn’t stay the whole time because I had to prepare things for today’s trip to Madrid, but the half hour I participated was very special. This is truly a topic that concerns me a lot. What someone must have lived through and how they must feel to end up in such a situation… it must be horrible and helpless. Every time I see someone in that circumstance, I reflect on many things, and unfortunately, I see a lot both in Spain and Ireland, and I imagine everywhere, sadly.
I often think about this: if I feel cold at home despite blankets and warm clothes, how must someone who is always out on the street feel? I don’t think most of us could last even a week. It’s so tough, and it’s not just the cold.
I really empathize with these people. It’s not a huge contribution, I just played a few songs I barely knew at best and did what I could, but I wanted to be there. I believe the cause is very important, and it’s crucial to share it here and raise awareness. From our privileged position, we really have the power to help those less fortunate ❤️
